Sundance Panels to Include Legato, Goldblatt

ASC members Rob Legato and Stephen Goldblatt will participate in separate panels at the Sundance Film Festival, which will run from Jan. 22-Feb. 1.




Legato, who edited the Sundance entry Misery Loves Comedy, will participate in the Adobe-sponsored panel "How Technology is Blurring the Lines Between Indie and Hollywood" on Jan. 23 at the New Frontier Microcinema, 573 Main St., at 3 p.m.




Goldblatt will be on hand for a discussion following a hosted screening of the documentary Bending the Light, which celebrates the craftsmen who create lenses and the artists who use them, on Jan. 26 at the New Frontier Microcinema, 573 Main St., at 3 p.m. Goldblatt is one of the photographers featured in the film, which was directed by Michael Apted and underwritten by Canon, U.S.A.




Both events are free and open to festival attendees.
