ASC Breakfast Club with Schaefer Sept. 8
Cinematographer Roberto Schaefer, ASC, AIC will be the guest of honor at an ASC Breakfast Club Sept. 8 at the Clubhouse, 1782 N. Orange Dr., from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
Schaefer will discuss his approach to the craft with American Cinematographer managing editor Jon D. Witmer, and will also take questions from the audience.
Schaefer's body of work includes the upcoming Miles Davis drama Miles Ahead, the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace, the dramas Finding Neverland and Monster's Ball, and the comedies Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman. He recently spent a month hosting the ASC Instagram.
Advance tickets for the ASC Breakfast Club are $35 general admission, $20 for Friends of the ASC. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $40.
There will be no on-site parking for the event. Parking is available for a fee at several public lots in the area, including Hollywood & Highland.
