American Cinematographer Receives 5 Folio Nominations

American Cinematographer has received five nominations for 2015 Folio Eddie Awards for Editorial Excellence, two in the category of Best Full Issue and three in the category of Best Single Article.

The magazine's September 2014 and October 2014 editions are finalists in the Best Full Issue category.

AC finalists in the Best Single Article category are:

• Visions of Grandeur: The 80th Anniversary of The Big Trail, by Jason Apuzzo (April 2015)


• Backstage Drama: Birdman, by Jean Oppenheimer (December 2014)


• High-Flying Heroics: Jupiter Ascending, by Jon D. Witmer (February 2015)

The winners will be announced Oct. 19 at the Folio Eddie & Ozzie Awards Luncheon in New York.
