The company will showcase the new 18mm, 40mm and 200mm focal lengths in its online expo July 15-17.

Zeiss has added three high-speed, full-frame lenses to its Supreme Prime series: an 18mm (T1.5), a 40mm (T1.5) and a 200mm (T2.2).

“By adding a 40-mill lens, we have introduced a surprise member to the Zeiss Supreme Prime family,” notes Christophe Casenave of Zeiss. “Since launching these lenses, we’ve been in constant contact with customers worldwide, and we added the 40mm in order to respond flexibly to our customers’ desire to close the gap between the 35mm and 50mm.”

Designed to cover large-format camera sensors, the Zeiss Supreme Prime series now comprises 14 lenses with fixed focal lengths between 15mm and 200mm and maximum apertures from T1.5 to T2.2.

The three new Supreme Primes can be ordered now and will be delivered starting in September. They will be showcased in the Zeiss Virtual Cine Expo July 15-17.
