Wooden Camera Updates Director’s Monitor Cage
Available for single- and dual-monitor setups, DMCv3 is 33 percent lighter and features new user-friendly functions.
Wooden Camera announces the Director’s Monitor Cage v3, an update to the previous design that features new user-friendly functions and a 33-percent reduction in weight. The DMCv3 is engineered to be universally compatible with any monitor up to 9" (measured diagonally) and attaches via top, bottom or rear 1/4-20 mounting locations.
The DMCv3 features carbon-fiber rods and handles and weighs just 1 pound. The lightweight design provides a dual-direction swing-away battery bracket for mounting either gold-mount or v-mount battery plates and integrated dual wireless-receiver mounting brackets. It includes an integrated baby-pin clamp for mounting to C-Stands, a four-point quick-release neck strap for portable viewing and a removable sunshade for increased daylight visibility.
The DMCv3 ships pre-assembled and ready to use. List price is $299.
A Dual Director’s Monitor Cage v3, which facilitates mounting two monitors side by side, is also available. List price is $599. (An adapter set is also available for $65.)
DMCv3 will begin shipping this month and is available for pre-order now through the Wooden Camera website and dealership network.
