David Alexander Willis

Turnkey live-mobile-production is based on NewTek TriCaster TC1 multi-camera hub.

VidOvation is offering an all-in-one wireless transmission system based on the NewTek TriCaster TC1. Integrating the Aviwest DMNG PRO180+ global 3G/4G bonded cellular transmission system and the VidOlink Reacher, a 3,000' HD/SDI/HDMI transmitter and receiver, the VidOvation Sports Bundle enables broadcast or livestreaming without cabling.

"We're delighted to collaborate with VidOvation on its Sports Bundle, which adds a new dimension to NewTek's end-to-end IP video production workflow," said Brian Olson, vice president of product management atNewTek, via a press announcement. "Removing the wires brings a new level of freedom and storytelling to production that is very much in sync with NewTek's philosophy of user empowerment and cutting-edge technology. With VidOvation, not only are the camera links wireless, but so is the option for final delivery. That opens up even more possibilities for our shared customers."

VidOlink Reacher Zero Latency Wireless Video Transmitter & Receiver

Widely used for sporting and live events, the NewTek TriCaster TC1 is a multi-camera production unit for on-air, live streaming and in-venue productions. With switching, streaming and recording in HD, 3G and 4K UHD at up to 60p, integrated video servers allow playback, replay, and live editing without any additional hardware. Housing fully adjustable single-screen or multi-screen monitoring, there are 36 source channels on the TriCaster TC1, including 16 external inputs. It offers video tools including configurable color correction, 3D object positioning, picture-in-picture effects, composites, live chromakey, smooth-edge cropping, and many more.

Feeding to the NewTek TriCaster TC1, the VidOlink Reacher wireless video transmitter/receiver connects multiple cameras wirelessly to control rooms or production trucks, including broadcast-grade HDMI and HD-SDI video transmission up to 3,000' with no cables, latency or compression. When operating in a mobile environment, VidOvation's Aviwest PRO180+ bonded cellular and IP link can then send live-event coverage from the TriCaster system to the cloud, Facebook Live, YouTube, UStream or any master control using a combination of cellular and IP networks.
