Now open for business, the new headquarters in the Brooklyn Navy Yard offers more than 20,000 square feet of space.

Longtime New York City rental house Technological Cinevideo Services has moved its headquarters to the Brooklyn Navy Yard and is open for business.

Located in Building 77, Unit 901, 9th Fl., 141 Flushing Ave., the new facility is more than 20,000 square feet, double the size of company’s previous location. It includes an advanced testing suite and eight camera checkout bays, along with three private rooms for productions requiring extra space.

For more than 40 years, TCS has offered the production community personalized, 24/7 tech support and an inventory of world-class motion-picture cameras and lenses, including sought-after vintage glass. TCS also offers service, repair and maintenance to equipment owners; this includes maintaining most digital cine equipment from camera bodies to lenses, monitors and fluid heads —  even gear that is no longer supported by manufacturers.

TCS is owned and operated by siblings Oliver and Erik Schietinger. “Although we have been servicing Brooklyn for decades, our team is excited to become part of the borough’s filmmaking vitality with this move to the Navy Yard,” says Oliver.
