SmallHD Unveils Smart 5
The 5" touchscreen monitor is available in three versions: Indie 5, Cine 5 and Ultra 5.
SmallHD has introduced the Smart 5 series of 5" touchscreen monitors.
Available in three versions — the Indie 5, the Cine 5 and the Ultra 5 — the solution is engineered to deliver the professional toolset of SmallHD’s
Ultrabright and Smart 7 series in a more compact package with daylight-viewable displays and PageOS functionality.
The Indie 5 offers 1,000 nits of brightness and optional camera-control functionality.
The Cine 5 offers 2,000 nits of brightness and a joystick control and back button that allow for quick adjustments, even when the user is wearing gloves.
The Ultra 5 features 3,000 nits of brightness, a locking power adapter, an Ethernet port for Arri camera control and large, front-facing buttons for maximum control in all conditions.
The Ultra 5 ($2,199) and Cine 5 ($1,599) will ship in October. The Indie 5 ($1,299) will ship in November.
