Mnemonica Expands Platform for Venice

European media-asset-management company Mnemonica is expanding its cloud-based platform in collaboration with the Venice International Film Festival, which will use the application to receive, process, screen and evaluate submissions from directors and producers worldwide.

Among the features Mnemonica has added is a new type of screening room called an “Ingest Room,” which can fetch a large quantity of media from anyone while keeping control and security untouched. The Ingest Room can also be controlled via an API to integrate Mnemonica’s secure environment into any submission portal. 

The 79th Venice Film Festival, organized by La Biennale di Venezia, is set for Aug. 31-Sept. 10, 2022.
