Matthews Releases Gobo Plate Media Mount
The new device rapidly and safely mounts monitors onto C-Stands using standard 2.5" grip heads.
Matthews Studio Equipment, Inc., has released the Gobo Plate Media Mount, which is designed to rapidly and safely mount monitors onto C-Stands using standard 2.5" grip heads.
Weighing 16.9 ounces, the device mounts to 75mm and 100mm VESA hole patterns and features: a T-slot with V centering; a tethered and removable locking pin to secure the mount in the open and closed positions; five ½"-diameter and six ¼"-diameter spaced circular cutouts to enable bolting to cheese plate, lumber, beams and set walls; two slots at hinge end that fit hook and loop straps for cable management and organization; a low-profile design (folds down flat to remain on the monitor for the next location), and a safety-cable hole in the back of the plate to provide added security for hanging monitors overhead.
The MSE Gobo Plate Media Mount is available for a promotional price of $99 through Jan. 21 and will cost $129 after that.
