MAT Updates Towercam
Improvements include faster column speed, simpler handling and lighter weight.
Mad About Technology has updated its Academy Award-winning Towercam with a variety of new features.
The microcontroller unit is now attached to the bottom of the column, and all cables are connected directly between the MCU and the motor — no extra cable is necessary.
Additionally, the system’s weight has been reduced to 120 pounds; the new gearbox provides even more noise reduction; setup is now plug-and-play; column speed has been improved by 15 percent; there are fixed-position end stops; handling has been simplified, and the device is CANopen compatible.
