Hollyland’s Cosmo 2000

IBC 2018: Wireless high-definition video transmission system will make its debut.

Following up on the Cosmo 1000 and Cosmo 400 wireless transmission systems, Hollyland has released the Cosmo 2000 for broadcast-quality, uncompressed 3G-SDI or HDMI signals, up to 1080p at 60fps.

With 5 GHz ISM Frequency Band antennas, transmissions can reach 2,000', delivering zero playback delay in Broadcast Mode. Broadcast Mode supports up to four multiple transmitter-to-receiver signals with or without signal encryption. A Point to Point Mode is also provided for single transmitter and receiver pairing.

There are nine operating channels to choose from. Transmitter and receiver provide dual SDI input and output. Supporting SDI embedded, two-channel, 24bit/48KHz audio support, there is also a 3.5mm stereo input. Both transmitter and receiver have OLED screen with link indication for fan status, output information, working temperature, signal format, fan status and working temperature.

The $5,480 Cosmo 2000 kit includes Magic Arm, Crab clamp, D-tap to LEMO cabling and a hard case. In addition to wired HDMI extenders, Hollyland offers other high-definition wireless transmission solutions that will work at more than 3,000'.
