FotoKem has expanded its creative postproduction services in Santa Monica, furthering the company’s commitment to filmmakers in the Los Angeles area.

Located on the second floor of 1661 Lincoln Blvd., FotoKem Santa Monica is linked to the company’s Burbank and Hollywood locations via a secure fiber network, ensuring that feature-film and episodic finishing work can take place in real time among all locations. The building's ground floor is occupied by Margarita Mix, FotoKem’s mixing and recording studio.

FotoKem Santa Monica features a DI color-grading theater, an episodic and commercial color suite, an editorial conform bay and a visual-effects team tied to the offerings at FotoKem’s main Burbank campus, Keep Me Posted’s episodic-finishing facility, and Margarita Mix Hollywood’s episodic-grading suites. FotoKem’s entire roster of colorists is available. Recent projects include Vice, Aquaman, The Dirt, LittleGood Trouble and Shazam!

Amenities include a full kitchen with a private chef.

“Having these resources on the west side, in the same building as our amazing audio facility, enables us to provide feature and episodic color in Burbank, Hollywood and Santa Monica simultaneously,” says Mike Brodersen, chief strategy officer for FotoKem. “Knowing that many of our clients work or live in or near these areas was a key driver, and we look forward to providing a convenient location for them to engage our services, whatever the need.”
