ETC Launches Fos/4 Panels
The lights will be showcased in February at open-house events around the world, starting Feb. 3 in Orlando, Fla.
ETC has launched a family of Fos/4 panel lights available in small, medium and large sizes.
Each size delivers unrivaled brightness in two array options. The Lustr X8 array adds a deep-red LED to its mix that enhances skin tones and gives new depth to blues, greens and ambers. The Daylight HDR is a tunable, white-light array that delivers natural warmth when rendering skin tones and is optimized for output in cooler temperatures. These soft lights offer selectable CCT between 1,900-10,450K.
The full-color screen and tactile encoders on the user interface were designed with cinema workflows in mind. Fos/4 gives nuanced color control from the full-spectrum color picker within the UI, letting users choose how to mix each color. Customized color palettes can be saved to one of the many programmable presets.
Features of the Fos/4 Panel include the Griprail, a bracket that acts as a mounting location for the fixture as well as for accessories; handles that double as safety-cable locations; rounded corners and an industrial-gray finish.
Additional features include NFC configuration from a mobile device, Multiverse Wireless control from a console using City Theatrical’s Multiverse transmitter, and a suite of effects, including police siren, beacon, camera flash and party.
The Fos/4 Panels will be showcased in February at ETC open-house events around the world. The tour will kick off Feb. 3 in Orlando, Fla., and additional U.S. stops will be in New York, N.Y.; Austin, Texas; Middleton, Wis., and Burbank, Calif. More information and registration are available here.
