Band Pro, Angénieux to Show Optimo Primes at Cine Gear
The T1.8 lenses will begin shipping in fall 2020. Band Pro is taking preorders in the Americas.
Band Pro Film & Digital and Angénieux will showcase the new Angénieux Optimo Primes in their respective booths at the Cine Gear Expo in Los Angeles May 31-June 1.
Band Pro will be in Booth 70; Angenieux will be in Booth 40.
Recently unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival, the T1.8 Optimo Primes provide full-frame 46.5mm-image-circle coverage. All focal lengths feature fully interchangeable mounts, including LPL, XPL, PL, Canon EF, Nikon F and Panavision XL.
Engineered as smart lenses, they will support both Cooke/i and Arri LDS. They feature common gear size and position across the entire 12-lens set.

The first six Optimo Primes are scheduled for delivery in fall 2020: 21mm, 28mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm and 135mm.
The 18mm, 32mm and 100mm will be delivered in winter 2020, and the 24mm, 60mm and 200mm will complete the set in spring 2021.
Sales and distribution of Optimo Primes will be handled by Band Pro in the Americas, by Angénieux in Europe and Africa and by Jebsen CineCast in Asia.
