Starring Russell Crowe as the rambunctious Capt. “Lucky” Jack Aubrey and Paul Bettany as the ship’s doctor and resident secret agent, Stephen Maturin, the film takes its name from the 10th installment in the acclaimed series of Master and Commander adventure books by Irish author Patrick O’Brien.
